This is a new Trance composition I made. Its contributed to the Great spirit. Its a nice piece to do trance work and or visions quest.

Important note: all instruments are real instruments I played myself. Till the tiniest details of shakers. No samples from instruments are used. Only the church bells and the nature sounds are samples. I played those instruments live and most of the flute melodies came to me spontaneously when I was in a trance state. They just evolved during playing.

In those strange times with Covid-19 we look for refuge in  nature. Its a place that is very magical for us  and a place of healing. We should reflect on what we are doing. Nature is always an endless  source of inspiration. Based on this visit I became inspired to record a trance journey track. Its played with authentic instruments and I played all instruments myself. I love to play native American flute. Its played  in a so called trance state guided by the spirits of nature. One can use this track for healing and rejuvination and meditate with it. Enjoy!

  1. I behold a small dark orb, wheeling in an abyss of infinite space. It is minute among a myriad vast ones, dark amid a myriad bright ones.
  2. I who comprehend in myself all the vast and the minute, all the bright and the dark, have mitigated the brilliance of mine unutterable splendour, sending forth V.V.V.V.V. as a ray of my light, as a messenger unto that small dark orb.

    Little by little, as your eyes grow stronger, will we unveil to you the ineffable glory of the Path of the Adepts, and its nameless goal.
  15. Even as a man ascending a steep mountain is lost to sight of his friends in the valley, so must the adept seem. They shall say: He is lost in the clouds. But he shall rejoice in the sunlight above them, and come to the eternal snows.

  19. To you who yet wander in the Court of the Profane we cannot yet reveal all; but you will easily understand that the religions of the world are but symbols and veils of the Absolute Truth. So also are the philosophies. To the adept, seeing all these things from above, there seems nothing to choose between Buddha and Mohammed, between Atheism and Theism.
  20. The many change and pass; the one remains. Even as wood and coal and iron burn up together in one great flame, if only that furnace be of transcendent heat; so in the alembic of this spiritual alchemy, if only the zelator blow sufficiently upon his furnace all the systems of earth are consumed in the One Knowledge.
  21. Nevertheless, as a fire cannot be started with iron alone, in the beginning one system may be suited for one seeker, another for another.
  22. We therefore who are without the chains of ignorance, look closely into the heart of the seeker and lead him by the path which is best suited to his nature unto the ultimate end of all things, the supreme realization, the Life which abideth in Light, yea, the Life which abideth in Light.

There are some points to consider for those who are not an aspirant for long. What makes it hard for aspirants to persist on this path? One of the major reasons is that we only provide a blueprint with Oaths and tasks surrounded with books related to several practices.

The aspirant should find out for her/ himself how to put all this in their daily work. They also should work out ‘how’ they will operate. We don’t have ‘lessons’ so to speak. The lessons will open up while one is on the path and ding their work. And those lessons are different for each individual. We don’t have the industrial way that all people should do the same ‘lessons’ in order to progress like in old Aeonic schools like the old GD system. No, we should cut our own way through the jungle. Hope to find the easer eggs hidden in our system. If you look for a structure of ‘lessons’ and if you aren not able to think for yourself this path isn’t something for you. Hence see all those books ‘how to’ in Thelema as well! That will not very helpful to think for yourself isn’t it? Beside this, we all know that when people have a certain authority and write about it many tend to follow. Still the written word has lots of power especially when its backed with authority.

As Dion Fortune once said. ‘in occultism is no room for authority’. Take heed of all this carefully. Especially these days with social media etc. Many expose their opinions. And those who shout the hardest and sell the most books seem to have the most authority. But isn’t attainment revealed by what one is? How one does things? How much ego is involved or not? What did the one with authority accomplish? What kind of person is he/she? Actions is what makes us what we are. Words are easy, but words followed by actions claimed says something about the authenticity of the person. Are the words and actions in sync? Or is there a lot of discrepancy?

Thelema is for very many people too ‘hard’ becasue thinking for themselves is hard. And very few people are able to think for themselves. This is also not what we learn at school and in society. What we should do is rigorously get rid of aspects that hold us back from progress and uncover our ‘true nature’ also called “True Will’.

Same is true concerting our Holy Books. You should find out yourself what they mean to you, what they do to you. No one can tell and while you are doing the work, learning your chapter in due time the inner meaning will be revealed to you since something inside you ‘knows’ the meaning. The language is in such a way that it take attention to our subconsciousness and not to our ‘rational’ mind. Like symbols. The Holy Books are written in words and are as symbols. And they can mean very different from others. Thus understanding is for every individual ‘very’ different. As an unique ‘star’ we also will have unique insights that help us along the way. The insights and glimpse will pop up when you do certain work.

The ‘work’ itself will uncover for you wat will work for you. No one else can tell. I know for many that is very hard but magick cannot be taught in ‘lessons’. it’s an organic evolvement of the aspirant in his/her unique way.

Pathworking with LAM on the 19th Path

A quote from my diary from a Pathworking with LAM on the 19th Path.

LAM working exploration of the 19th Path the 4th time. Started with full Samekh astrally. Then I started the process as usual with LAM. I entered the void or space. From that point on I stepped into the image of Atu XI. I was in the wasteland as before on a large field, everything was brownish red like on the card. I had a staff in the form of a snake and I wore a white robe. And I had a belt in the form of a ouroboros like on the magician’s card of the BOTA deck. A green ouroboros. I took my time and then I called in the genii in the usual way. I saw him floating in the air in the form of a ‘lion serpent’. I asked the genii to show me more on this path related to ABRAHADABRA. He complied and then I saw serpents on the horizon heading towards the red sphere like on the picture of the card. I took my time to let it all happen then I casted a circle with my staff in the sand. And from above it looked like the symbol of the Sun. A circle with a dot ‘me’ in the middle. Then I looked up and I saw the glyph I received last time the angle above in in 3D and below me the crescent as a cup like on that glyph but all in 3D and big. I saw the connection from this point with the abyss. Then I saw an opening  that was the opening to connect with Binah. It was all black and I saw many  golden pyramids. The so called city of pyramids. It was a similar image I saw when I did a trance work about 11 years ago. Then it was showed to me by Shekinah. I was standing half way the path of the 19th path as a footstep to peek beyond. I felt enormous powers[1] that made me light headed. The sacrifice from life (blood) in the crescent to make the upward movement to the supernals on top of the Tree. It was an intense experience . After a while I went back to the astral temple. Thanked the Genii for its help. I was a bit nauseous because of the intense and powerful  energies. I have had that experience on this level before which is in fact a positive sign. There I closed the session in the usual way. Duration of this pathworking was 25 minutes.

 

After the session I suddenly got inspired to connect the points from the glyph to the spheres of the Tree of Life. I use a transparent sheet to draw it. This is a picture of it.

 

 

After I drew it and connected everything I saw that it looked like an inverse Tree of Life but with the spheres on the same place. Only the drawing is different. And it also has a meaning as with all those things. Also a relation with the word TRINC and ABRAHADABRA. The word TRINC has its letters in Geburah and Chesed = the 19th Path. Yod and Nun in letters. The letters R and C on Chokmah and Binah and the T on top, in Kether. The numeral value according to Grant  = 680[2]. However its not clear how he calculated it. If I see the letters its 400, 200, 10, 50 and 8. Also related to the Atu’s; Universe XXI, the Sun  XIX, the Hermit IX, Death XIII and the Chariot VII. If I add all those numbers it makes 69.

Also there were some verses from our Holy books Liber VII in relation to this pathworking what popped up in my head.

 

Prologue verse 10.

 

The perfume of Pan pervading, the taste of him utterly filling my mouth, so that the tongue breaks forth into a weird and monstrous speech’.

 

Chapter VI verse 59.

 

‘And the fish shall be sacrificed to Thee and the strong man crucified for Me, and Thou and I will kiss, and atone for the wrong of the Beginning; yea, for the wrong of the beginning’.

 

Obviously its part of an extended Work I did for months and more months to come with the aid of LAM on the Paths of the Tree of life with the help of the Genii of Liber 231.  Its published to show the reader  the idea and how symbols can develop. You should now that all these images and visions came at the moment and that I had no idea what to expect. Actually the less one expects the better and more accurate the information is. An open mind and in a high state of trance.

Obstacles in the process of initiation.

827f4c53f7d03196ae12da934fac2162In the process of initiation are many obstacles. They are most of the time a combination of matters depending on the ‘soul maturity’ of the aspirant. They are personal but there are also many common obstacles that I observed in the training of  students over the years.

My old tutor once wrote:

“(1) To act as a barrier between the world of spiritually ignorant awareness and the worldof higher understanding. That is, ignorance and understanding about the true nature of reality. The barrier that awakens is designed to keep immature souls (those not ready toaccept higher understanding), out of the realm of higher awareness”.

There are so to speak ‘natural’ barriers that prevent the student from advancing. One of them is to fail to see the nature of ‘reality’ (higher consciousness). This realty is beyond the conditioned way we see things as an individual and as part of the ‘herd’. Mainly by upbringing, education, and self-developed thinking patterns, social context. The process of initiation supposed to break down this barriers. And only than one is able to overcome them.

And:

“(2) To force anyone who is mature enough (soul-wise) to learn about what reality reallyis, before allowing the barrier to fully open for them. It is not the intention of nature toallow anyone to gain higher awareness without understanding (i.e. an education abouthow reality works.)

Understanding’ is a very important factor. If one ‘understands’ its easier to work on ones hang-ups. However by many of the aspirants they aren’t aware of their own condition that prevent them from understanding.

And:

‘On the path of initiation (higher personal development) a number of crises are reached,must be experienced, understood, and overcome, in order for the initiate to continueonward and upward. These crises are the physical manifestation (so to speak) of thebarrier … that which traditional occultism has called “The Threshold to the Mysteries”.

There are several minor crisis’s. One of them is ‘laziness’.  This means that the aspirant just ignore instructions, don’t do the work they should do, ignore details, postpone their work etc. Thinking they know ‘better’ etc. The guardian of the threshold feeds this as its does always. One should be aware of this in order to overcome this. And act upon it.

The second minor crisis is ‘distraction’. This means that the student is involved in many unimportant matters (not productive in order to advance on the Path), like endless watching TV, socializing without any substance, have a full agenda of non-essential appointments etc. It’s the tutor’s job to assist the aspirant to reveal those matters/ patterns and help the aspirant to weed those matters out.

The primary crisis is ‘commitment’.

He wrote:

‘ Unconditional commitment is characterized by a deliberate and systematic focus on twothings:

1) Avoiding all distractions to success.

(2) Working towards taking the safest, quickest and most productive path to the goal.The student who actively takes care to work in this way can readily be consideredcommitted to the path.’

Commitment to ones Work in relation with the minor crisis’s involved. Many aspirants are getting offended when the tutor mentions those and correct them. This can be a painful process. One should arrange one’s life in a very different manner then one is used to. Many can’t let that go. Especially when one does things in a certain way for many years.

After this there will be many obstacles that will come up in the process. It all has to do with the level of soul maturity and how the tutor can assist the student in this. Therefore experience is required for the tutor. When those matters are addressed in the right way then the door is open to experience ‘real’ initiation. Especially at the start of the Outer order grades.

Concerning certain subjects and self-delusion.

Concerning certain subjects like the matter of the HGA. This subject is very difficult to discuss. Actually its not discussable at all since this process is extremely personal since we all have a very different ‘karma’ to deal with and level of advancement.

Especially this subject is something many students discuss in their early career of the Outer order grades of the A.’.A.’.. When the time is right it will explain itself naturally so its not something that can be described as such in 9 times of 10. It only creates  more confusion since one has to do certain work before this will be revealed. In the earlier stages one is very vulnerable for self-delusion and phantasy. Since our judgement is clouded by presumptions and thought patterns and what not. We should always be on our guard concerning self-delusion since it can sneak in.

My point is, let it rest avoid conceptualization, do the Work and the reward will appear sooner or later. Many are impatient and want to attain in a couple of years. Usually this is simply impossible, our House has to be cleaned thoroughly before the God can indwell it.

Think about the words from Liber LVX chapter I:


7. Be not contented with the image.

8. I who am the Image of an Image say this.

9. Debate not of the image, saying Beyond! Beyond! One mounteth unto the Crown by the moon and by the Sun, and by the arrow, and by the Foundation, and by the dark home of the stars from the black earth.

10. Not otherwise may ye reach unto the Smooth Point.

11. Nor is it fitting for the cobbler to prate of the Royal matter. O cobbler! mend me this shoe, that I may walk. O king! if I be thy son, let us speak of the Embassy to the King thy Brother.’


To put it in  some perspective. In some orders (Like the order in the documentary ‘Into the Great silence’), one is a novice for 20 years at least before one will be accepted as an ordained monk into  Carthusian monks of the Grande Chartreuse. Solitary, Praying and being in silence for many, many years.

For the most of us it takes decades, how can we think that after a few years we attain?

On Death.

Based on a question someone asked me. He asked me how do you cope with death and what are your ideas about this topic?

Death is natural, its part of life and I treat it as such and its an initiation in itself. That is why the ancient Egyptians payed so much attention to it. The only problem we have usually is that we are too attached to persons and to certainties. There are different ways to look at death. I’m looking at it as its common in occultism. Death is not really death (an end)  but a change into another plane of consciousness/ being.   In the process the person dissolves (his/her parts that are impermanent  are dissolving), this means the body and the lower parts of the mind (Nephesh and Ruach). The higher aspects of the mind our Nephesh, Chiah and Yechidah are going to a higher plane. Those higher aspects  come back from incarnation to incarnation as long as the individual has to learn. That is why people can remember things they have earned from other incarnations and that will assist them in the present. Then there is a certain point the individual can choose to incarnate or not (high level Adept or Master). High evolved persons are very conscious about this, materialistic individuals are not. They will sink into a deep unconscious sleep. (The theosophists say that they dwell in Devachan for a long period. This  state is a beautiful world projected by the mind or a hellish world (Avacchi) but they are  both illusional. The lower one is evolved the longer this period. It has been written by the old masters that a high evolved being is in devachan for a split second and a lower evolved person aeons ( an Aeon is approx. 2000 years) There is no consciousness of time in this phase since time actually don’t exist. Its a product of the (rational) mind. This place (devachan) is where the soul can rest and prepare for the next phase of destiny in which the is highly depended on how the person lived  its present life) .  There is always help in the other side from compassionate (angelic) beings/ spirits  which is always depended on ones merits. Nevertheless there is always help. So the phrase one is born alone and die alone is simply not true. Actually being alone is not possible. Feeling alone/ lonely is a product of self centeredness. Therefore it has been taught in many mystical magical traditions that one should be ’selfless’. selfless in the sense that one isn’t an independed (egoistic)  being but and inter-depended being which forms the ‘universal brotherhood;. In which we are all part of.

What we  can do is ‘IF  the person permits’ (and NEVER without asking)  , that we can tell what happens in the process. That will help the person to get rid of fears and thus in unfortunate incarnations blown by his/ her Karma. Many people, when they accepted their passing tend to become peaceful and pure. This is what I saw with my mother as well. What reveals  is the ‘pure being’ which is part of every sentient being.

In case of my mother  we (my wife and I) helped her in the process by telling her (by means of inner plane contact telepathically ), while we were in meditation what phases there are. As far as I have seen/ sensed this helped her a lot. And she was willing that I would help her. With ‘Love Empathy and Compassion . Those 3 aspects are crucial.

Those who don’t believe in anything or in re incarnation they will meet what they think. In general we will meet in the process what we were during this life. Its not a matter of 1 truth, its a matter of many possibilities like in life we can choose the life we project. What we think is what we are. What we think is what we create (like our present life)  and that creation is maintained by thought patterns and habits. Its very easy to contact someone who is in the process of dying since his/ her senses are highly sensitive and they are more receptive about  what we think. The dying person is highly clairvoyant ( because the gross part is dissolving) and receives any thought and idea projected on them.  Therefore its important that we can calm our mind and learn to observe and ‘ be’  rather than get carried away in emotions. Its not bad to have emotions  (its human) as long as they don’t overrule you or carry you away. Especially nasty  for the dying person who gets pulled back all the time by the attachment of the loved ones. We die as  we lived our lives.

At least that is how I look at it and  experience what I’ve seen in meditations and trance states. I’m a natural clairvoyant and clairsentient which was a curse when I was a child and is a blessing now.

The calming down of the mind  is something that has been built up over many years of daily practice of meditations and other practices. Thus by many hours of practice it becomes a natural state of mind that can be induced almost instantly. One is able to be in the eye of the storm wherein ‘ reality’ becomes more and more clear and illusion dissolves.

Its a simplified explanation how I see it. Its in reality much more detailed and deep than I can put in words.

Actually if one know how to deal with death one knows how to deal with live.

‘For healing and rejuvenation’.

The Stele of revealing.

Based on The Book of the Law. And the Stele of revealing.

 

  1. Preliminary practice banishing rituals as preferred (LBRP or Star Ruby or another according to one’s tradition.). Meditation. Calm abiding for about 10 minutes. Or more if one seems fit. Use implements of your choice. For incense I will suggest the incense of Abramelin, and the Oil of Abramelin.

 

  1. Star Sapphire ritual, or the traditional invoking lesser hexagram ritual. Additionally one also can do the Middle Pillar Ritual after this.

 

  1. Sit in front of the Stele of revealing or the Tarot Trump XX The Aeon from the Thoth Tarot deck. Gaze on the picture for about 5 minutes. Just gaze nothing else.

 

  1. Close your eyes. And rise up with your astral body. Enter your astral Temple or place what you prefer.

 

  1. Once in your astral temple open all your inner senses. Try to experience everything you see with the 5 astral senses as intense as possible. Then face East.

 

  1. Do the preliminary invocation from Liber Samekh. As intense as possible. When that is done take some time to experience the changes in the atmosphere. Don’t judge what you see hear or what not. Just let it happen.

 

  1. Then in the East visualize a large door with the picture of the Stele on it or the Card The Aeon XX.

 

  1. Then start chanting the Mantra from the Stele[2]:

‘Aka Dua ,

Tuf ur biu,

Bi aa chefu, 

Dude ner af an nuteru’.

 

  1. Recite or read the following verse from the Book of the Law Verse 37 – 38 Chapter III. Verse 37.

 

I adore thee in the song:—

I am the Lord of Thebes, and I

     The inspired forth-speaker of Mentu;

For me unveils the veilèd sky,

     The self-slain Ankh-af-na-khonsu

Whose words are truth. I invoke, I greet

     Thy presence, O Ra-Hoor-Khuit!

Unity uttermost showed!

     I adore the might of Thy breath,

Supreme and terrible God,

     Who makest the gods and death

To tremble before Thee—

     I, I adore thee!

Appear on the throne of Ra!

     Open the ways of the Khu!

Lighten the ways of the Ka!

     The ways of the Khabs run through

To stir me or still me!

     Aum! let it fill me!

 

Verse 38

(So that thy light is in me; & its red flame is as a sword in my hand to push thy order. There is a secret door that I shall make to establish thy way in all the quarters, (these are the adorations, as thou hast written), as it is said: )

 

The light is mine; its rays consume

  Me: I have made a secret door

Into the House of Ra and Tum,

  Of Khephra and of Ahathoor.

I am thy Theban, O Mentu,

  The prophet Ankh-af-na-khonsu!

By Bes-na-Maut my breast I beat;

  By wise Ta-Nech I weave my spell.

Show thy star-splendour, O Nuit!

  Bid me within thine House to dwell,

O wingèd snake of light, Hadit!

  Abide with me, Ra-Hoor-Khuit!

 

  1. Remain in silence. Imagine you enveloped yourself with the brilliance light of the Stele. Let it enter your whole body[3].

 

  1. Stay in the receptive state of mind for a while and then close the session. Write down your experiences in your magical diary.

[1] As suggested to me in a working I did with LAM and exploring the 31the Path of Shin. The Genii Shabnax-odobor suggested to work this out. The Word AshNaHa came to me during the Working and has many meanings and realtions to the 31st Path but also to this ritual.

[2] One can choose a personal form like 93 times, or 11 times with great intensity. Adding any visualizations and/ or tonal variations as you seem fit.

[3] If you do this practice for someone else imaging the person standing in front of you and let the radiant light from the Stele enter his or her body. You also can extend this to more persons, a group or something you thing that needs some extra ‘power’. You can add anything you think that you want.
